The Burning Orchard depicts a battle of wits of one man against four hardened and ruthless killers and the trauma he undergoes trying to save his family. It is a narrative of his painful struggle with leaving behind his past life and stepping into an indefinite future, a tale that portrays his emotional journey through anguish, resentment, doubt, devotion and perseverance.
It is an account of a lone man’s fight to preserve dignity and his hidden strength overcoming the limitations when confronted with adverse circumstances.
It presents an analysis of a besieged man viewing the effects of terrorism through his personal lens.
It is perhaps the saga of many unnoticed, unspoken and unknown sufferers whose tales may have got lost in the obscurity of insignificance.
