Gerry's goal in life is to be the best female lawyer in the world. She was offered a job in a handsome lawyer's office, Geoff Montgomery, but soon finds he doesn't think women should work outside the home. Their goals clash as they discover more about each other. Gerry is rescued from a wreck by a very friendly veterinarian, Walt Chapin, and he is as supportive as Geoff is against her goals.
