By Kerman (245 Days Ago)Ravi Subramanian book 'The Incredible Banker' is the much awaited fictional novel and the 3rd and last in his banking trilogy with the earlier 2 being 'If god was a banker' 2007 and 'Devil in pinstripes' 2010. The book attempts to brings to light the juxtaposition set in the backdrop of a bank which masks itself as a sober and ethical institution but gets trapped in the quicksand of corporate politics. The result is an exciting, powerful and provocative story bringing together an intriguing cocktail of greed, love and money laundering involving expats, bankers and importantly women in the Indian banking corridors. Though a complex subject the author Ravi has attempted to give his readers an inside view of the murkiness which exists in our day to day working lives yet keeping it light, breezy and easy to read. Its a real page turner and i would recommend it to all who are keen for an insiders view on the politics of our corporate world.
