The Superman Files reveals the discrete life of the man in steel, Clark Kent, and the world of the greatest superhero that ever existed. The book provides a deep insight into the history of Superman, by using clippings from the Daily Planet, journal entries and surviving artifacts from Krypton.
The Superman Files provides an in-depth life story of Superman, the man of steel, right from his birth on Krypton as Kal-El through his present and even forward into the future.
The book then transcends into the future, one thousand years from now, when a group of teenagers with extraordinary superpowers are inspired by Superman’s legacy. They together form the Legion of Super Heroes, a group dedicated to protecting the citizens of the United Planets. Brainiac 5, a highly intelligent descendant of one of superman’s arch rival, is one of these teen in the group. All the members of the group idolize superman and they constantly visit the Superman Museum and marvel at his tales of courage and bravery. They eventually time travel to superman’s teenage years, make him a part of their group and thereby starts the adventures of superboy! Brianiac takes on the responsibility to chronicle all of superman’s achievements and starts gathering information from varied sources. He compiles the universe’s greatest historical record of the Man of Steel.
