Fifty-one scholars from 11 countries representing 19 disciplines met at Delphi, Greece, to discuss and debate why we do what we do, both to ourselves and to our world. Out of this vigorous exchange emerged the Delphi Society for long-term study of patterns of human behavior. This book offers a unique international perspective on global human problems.
