Offering pluralistic perspectives on the patient experience and patient care, this book examines these in the context of postmodern and poststructural approaches, especially: the ways in which theses approaches can be used to inform us about health care; the practical aspects of proposing and carrying out research projects using these approaches; and the `intellectual journey' required to come to grips with their meaning and application.
