About the Book
Everyone else in Gregory’s family thinks numbers are mathemagical. For Gregory? Not so much. All he wants is to go to Authors Camp next summer with his best friend, Kelly. And to get his parents permission he’s going to have to pass his math class, which has a probability of zero. That much he can understand! To make matters worse, he’s been playing fast and loose with the truth. “I love math!” he tells his parents. “I’ve entered a citywide math contest!” he tells his teachers. “we are going to author’s camp!” he tells Kelly. And now, somehow he is going to have to make good on his promises.
With lots of pie( and a tiny bit of pi), lots of laughs, and some really good friends, here’s a book that is way more than the sum of its parts.
• A sweet read with an authentic middle grade voice, a slew of entertaining characters and every flavor of pie imaginable.
• It’s a book about friendship, struggling with expectations and learning to be true to yourself.
