This work examines analytic thermodynamics in terms of gas law, latent heat exchange and the derived Joule-Thomson co-efficient. The book also refers to chemically-reacting systems and to equilibrium and catalysis. Particular emphasis is laid upon thermodynamic temperature scale and construction.
