This is a work of fiction, but the words of Jesus in the story are true. The story takes place during the Resurrection and the Ascension of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The teachings are from the book of Mark and are told by Jesus. The love story is between Barabbas, whom Jesus was crucified in place of, and Mary Magdalene, from whom Jesus cast out the seven demons. Barsabbas is Barabbas' new name after he becomes a believer. The love story is not just between Barsabbas and Mary Magdalene, but also their love for Jesus. Every evening Jesus comes to a group of believers for forty days to preach, teach and have fellowship with them. The teachings are true. The love story of Barsabbas and Mary Magdalene is false. Chuck and his wife, Doni, have been missionaries since 1981. During this time they have seen close to 10,000 people make commitments to Christ. They have helped start churches in the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong and So. Africa. They've taken Bibles into Mainland China and have done outreaches in Japan, Indonesia and the Mainland USA. Chuck is an evangelistic author, songwriter and recording artist. Three of his albums have been nominated for music awards in Hawaii. One has won the "People's Choice Award" for the inspirational album of the year. Chuck is the Pastor/Director of the Kona Coast Chaplaincy on the Big Island of Hawaii. He spends four months each year ministering in Taiwan where many have come to know Christ.
