Collisions in a diverse cross section of individuals in American culture, either by chance or design, send these individuals crossing paths with the unfamiliar and the bizarre. The politics of government, the power plays of big business, the people who carve the structures of both, all appear in Beginning. Some are at their best and some, well, some perhaps might benefit from nurturing in that direction. There are believers, and schemers, the righteous, and the profane. We are introduced to Senators, Lobbyists, heavy players in international business, reformers, muscle for hire, good guys and bad guys, and guys in the middle just trying to make a buck.
