About the Book
This is a heartfelt story about a family of three, Chang-young, Juna, and their daughter Mirae. Their story entails betrayal, greed, and love lost and misplaced. The sudden and tragic suicide of Chang-young's father rivets the family. Chang-young's younger brother, Chuljin blames the suicide on Juna. Rigid expectations and senseless obligations drive Chang-young, Juna, and Mirae apart from each other. Mirae is drawn to Korea in hopes to tackle the issues surrounding her family. After pushing her relatives away from her for so long, Mirae struggles to bring them back to her for answers. She takes herself on divided paths which ultimately lead to the unknown.
