The BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Abdominal Surgery provides a ready source of practical information for veterinary surgeons, and is also beneficial for veterinary students, nurses and technicians as well as those working towards a specialist qualification in soft tissue surgery. The Manual concentrates on the most common soft tissue surgical conditions of the abdomen encountered in small animal practice and mentions briefly the more uncommon and complex surgical procedures.
