This book analyzes the role of the individual differences underpinning the profile of female clergy. This study represents a benchmark against which we will be able to chart the similarities and differences between the ground-breaking clergywomen in the Church of England and future generations of clergywomen. Second, this book has its roots both within theology and psychology. Within theology it fits within the area known as practical theology; within psychology it fits within the area known as individual differences. Personality theory is a tool taken from the psychology of individual differences that enables an exploration of the individual differences in the ministry of clergywomen contained within this book.
