About the Book
Coffee Bean, Coffee Bean is a story about a young girl who was often teased a lot about her name in her younger grades of school. While growing up she experienced a lot of bullying both mentally and physically. As she continued to get teased she started to retaliate and make fun of others slowly to gain a reputation and build her confidence inside. Coffee Bean's behavior eventually led to bullying others; she did exactly what was being done to her earlier on. Although she had very lovely parents who were always there to guide her, she didn't know how to change into a bigger and better person, into a bigger and a better Coffee Bean. Coffee Bean's first teacher that she ever had and her grade six teacher Mrs. Miller helped her overcome a lot of her fears and helped her regain her confidence and built her self esteem through goodness and courage. She'd teach Coffee Bean to recite poems about her name and poems about her being special just like the other kids. Mrs. Miller was always there for Coffee Bean no matter what, through good and bad times. It was Mrs. Miller that had inspired Coffee Bean to change her life into a better life and one that would bring her joy for many years to come. Coffee Bean eventually one day became a teacher herself, and a very kind and caring teacher she was. She was adored by everyone, by teachers and especially by her admirable students. She learned to live and accept herself for who she was and she definitely learned how to accept her name, something that she had never done when she was a child.
