About the Book
This book presents the systematic account of the concepts and principles of engineering thermodynamics. The book covers basic course of engineering thermodynamics and shall meet the requirements of the undergraduate students of engineering and technology undertaking the compulsory course of engineering thermodynamics.
Presentation of the subject matter has been made in very simple and lucid language. The book is written in SI system of units and each chapter has been provided with sufficient number of typical numerical problems of solved and unsolved type with answers.
About The Author
Onkar Singh is presently Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI), Kanpur. He has a vast teaching experience of more than 17 years at undergraduate and postgraduate level in different institutions. Dr. Singh has large number of research papers to his credit. His areas of interest include thermal power engineering and CAD of thermal systems. He is proud recipient of AICTE Young Teacher Career Award and has completed many research projects funded by AICTE and Deptt. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
