Things become more intricate when Redding falls for Gloria St. Pierre, a wild, seductive typical 1920's flapper and witness to the murders. With the aid of Special Agent Eliot Ness, a young agent from the bureau, who helps keep Judd on track?

The French beauty is not the only distraction. Detective Redding's conservative investigation techniques are challenged while on the trail of a schizophrenic killer with multiple personalities.
