Globalization, privatization and liberalization have become dominant forces shaping societies and economies the world over. These three processes are interrelated phenomena. Dr. Yogesh Kumar Sharma, M.Com., M.Phil., Ph.D. is Head of Economic Administration and Financial Management Department in S.M.L. (PG) College, Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan). He is an approved Ph.D. Guide and holds the post of Honorary Director in the Indian Institute of Education for Rural Transformation (IIERT), Jaipur. He is Academic Guide of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysis of India, Hyderabad. He is consultant to the reputed NGO, Society for Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA).

He is convener of the 'Business Information System and Application' Subject Committee of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer.
