The study of pottery is considered as an important aspect of interpreting the archaeological cultures. In the study under consideration, the pottery of various cultures belonging to different periods is being analyses in order to understand the past cultures as a whole. In order to understand the pottery in relation to the various cultures, it is also necessary to understand the contemporary cultures.
