Hepatitis may be the most swiftly changing topic in hepatology. The most current research and clinical treatment of the hepatitis C virus are discussed herein. Separate discussion is given to chronic hepatitis C in African-Americans, in the injection drug-using population, in patients with decompensated cirrhoisis and in potential kideney and heart transplant patients.
