About the Book
Religious institutions in medieval Andhra have been little studied in depth. This book by Dr. R. Soma Reddy supplies a felt need.

The author deals comprehensively with the general history, organization and functionaries, finances, relations with the state and society, of religious institutions like Temple, Matha, Mosque, Khanqua, Dargah and Ashurkhana of Hindus and Muslims, during the period from 1300 to 1600, on the basis of epigraphical sources and other original records in Persian and Urdu languages.
