Shorttitle This book looks at the role of leadership in mitigating the challenges that HIV/AIDS have brought in the education system in Zambia. The survey specifically looks at afew Catholic High schools and the programmes that they have to combat the problems they face due to HIV/AIDS. The problems that Catholic schools face can also be found in other schools as well. Thus, amid all these problems what is the leadership response to help bring a better understanding of the crises faced by the people in the educational institutions. Various responses are found, but one of the most important one is to have leadership that is knowledgeable about the problem, keen to fight it, and support the victims. Even, finding ways of mitigating the difficulties brought by this crises by talking about the effects, bringing in experts, and also having practical examples that can help to bring in messages about HIV/AIDS.
