In this sword and sorcery sci-fi satire, two young men begin simultaneous quests to find the lost city of Makhrek and their missing father. Along the way they encounter vicious shape-shifting creatures that devour their victims, strange artifacts from the vanished race that came before them, and team up with an unusual band of warriors that includes a mysterious cleric, a dark assassin and a beautiful warrior maiden.
