This book, based on a seminar, contains forty papers covering different aspects of water resources planning andmanagement. The articles cover different facets of the subject and have been grouped under the themes: systems approach tohydrologic problems and mathematical modeling; geographical information systemsand remote sensing in water resources management; water pollution andenvironmental considerations; and watershed management, education, artificialrecharge and rain water harvesting.
