About the Book
This book has been written with the purpose of making available to readers involved in travel and tourism and/or hospitality a comprehensive manual which examines the relationship between the two sectors and how they function. The focus of the book is concentrated on acquainting readers with the rigmarole of tourism--what it is, how big an industry it is, what factors influence it, what keeps running the wheels in its machinery--and how it supports the currently upcoming hospitality industry.
Hospitality ethics, a major factor which determines how this industry runs, is also a prime issue of concern here, and has been extensively discussed. In addition, the book has been set keeping in mind the international trends and standards, and one of the aims of the book is to acquaint the readers with all the current practices and developments which are in place in tourism and hospitality worldwide.
