Kabir lived perhaps during 1398-1448. He is thought to have lived longer than 100 years. He had enormous influence on Indian philosophy and on Hindi poetry. Kabir was more than a poet. He was a philosopher and a man of the spirit. He was wise and humble and close to God. He was a saint.
