Faith has never felt like she fit in with the other Pixies at Windhill Tree. She is shorter than all the other girls, her hair is a fiery explosion of red, and worst of all, she has freckles - all over her nose! Aside from her physical differences, Faith has a very strange fascination with humans and spies on them whenever she gets a chance. Discovering her secret, Faith's brother Frizzle blows the whistle on her and gets her banned from attending a special upcoming event at Windhill Tree which would be the most important event of her life. Breaking the biggest, most important rule in the Pixie community, Faith ends up being discovered by the humans and it is up to a girl named Sam to help Faith find her way back home before it is too late.
