After obtaining Master`s degree in Foundry Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, he took his Ph.D. from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He served as Principal and Dean, Faculty of Engineering at S.V.U. College of Engineering, and also as a correspondent at G.M.R. Foundation, Rajam. Dr. Narayana has 40 years of teaching experience in both under-graduate and postgraduate level and has published 40 research papers.
