He obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Production Engineering form Annamalai University. He has more than eleven years of experience in teaching process Planning and Cost Estimation, Manufacturing Science, Statistical Quality Control and Reliability Engineering, Engineering Graphics and Design Subject. He has written books on Design of Jigs, Fixtures and Press Tools Production Technology, Engineering Metrology, Principles of Management, Machine Tools, Process Planning and Cost Estimation and Manufacturing Technology.B. Vijaya Ramnath worked as a senior faculty of department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai. Currently he is associated with software solutions. He obtained his Bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering from University of Madras and Masters degree in Production Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
