The Offa's Dyke National Trail Path is a 177 mile long-distance walk along the English / Welsh border from Chepstow to Prestatyn. This guidebook is split into 15 stages, and designed to allow some flexibility, but the trail can be walked in less than a fortnight. The earthwork dyke was constructed by King Offa of Mercia in the 8th century.
