Excellence in science and technology, industrial revolution, overpopulation, pollution of the environment, and ethnic and religious conflicts are about to explode because man has not learned to tame and civilize the brute caveman in him. To save the human race from self-annihilation, the author appeals to the conscience of the people who care for our fellow human beings.
