About the Author
Joginder Singh, retired from Indian Police Service after a distinguished career, spanning over 36 years. From a rural and humble beginning he rose to one of the top positions in the Government, as Director, CBI. He became known nationwide as a crusader, fighting against corruption in high places. He also held the posts like Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Bureau of Police Research Development and Narcotics Control Bureau, apart from serving as Special Secretary in Union Home Ministry. He has also been Member of the Executive Committee of the Interpol in recognition of his dedication and professionalism. Now, his columns appear in leading periodicals as he is devoted to academic pursuits only.
