Major advances have recently been made in our understanding of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS): improving classification, recognizing primary and secondary risk-factors, manipulating and monitoring ovarian stimulation, handling risky situations, and elucidating the underlying pathophysiologic mechanisms of the syndrome.
