The Author
Roy Treloar is well known as a tutor and author within the plumbing and gas industry. He has been involved in teaching full time since 1985, and since then has undertaken extensive study, including a degree in further education, a diploma in management and an HNC in building studies. In addition to his plumbing and gas qualifications, Roy has also completed his qualifications in electrical installations. He has been Section Head, responsible for all mechanical engineering courses run at Colchester Institute, and has been an external verifier for the City & Guilds, for both the plumbing and gas schemes.He currently works for the Professional Training Centre at Colchester Institute as curriculum development manager, running various courses on mechanical services, including plumbing, gas, heating and electrical work.
