Populating Clay Landscapes Clay soils make up significant areas of Britain and Europe, but until little archaeological investigation has been undertaken on such soils. This multi-authored volume, which brings together some of these investigations, with particular emphasis on the contribution of aerial photography, is widely used by undergraduates and postgraduates.
