On April Fool's Day, a county homicide investigator stops a car propelled by a prominent and very dead real estate lawyer. Before he can catch the first killer, the body of a hated judge turns up. All clues seem to point to an eccentric octogenarian, a harmless con man, and an abandoned cemetery.
