This book discusses the ongoing practices and upcoming trends in retail in India. It consists of four sections. The second section of the book “Retailing and its Related Facets” which consists of 09 papers related to them. The third section of the book is “Retailing: A Strategic Business Opportunity”, comprising of 05 papers. The fourth section of the book is “Managing in the New Business Space”, comprising of 06 papers. About the Author Rajeev Jain is Ex-Director and Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University, Udaipur. Earlier he has also been Professor, Department of Management, Jimma University, Ethiopia 9Under UNDP Support Programme). His area is International Marketing and Strategic Management. He has about three decades of experience in Teaching, Research and Management Training. He had been the Chief Editor of Journal 'NIRNAY' published by Faculty of Management Studies, JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur. Under his guidance 11 Ph.D has been awarded and 10 are under the process. He has handled various research projects. Presently he is working on AICTE funded project. Professor Jain has authored and reviews 20 books, 15 articles and research papers. He has been awarded recognitiion for the books on 'Compnay Law and Secretarial Practices' published by Rajasthan, Hindi Granth Academy, Jaipur. He has been awarded Gold Medal for Masters' Degree and The Indian Council for Social Sciences and Research, New Delhi has recognized and published his doctoral research as a book, which has received a monitory encomium for publication. Professor Jain has organized various seminars, conferences, workshops and has Chaired Technical Sessions at National and International level. He has traveled extensively throughout African Countries, UAE, Thailand and Malaysia for attending various seminars, conferences and lecturing to institutions.
