About the Book
Howard E Wasdin is the author (along with co-writer Stephen Templin) of SEAL TEAM SIX the fascinating memoir of his time as a soldier with one of the worlds toughest and most secretive special operations units. The authors have written a preface that places the memoir in the context of the Bin Laden strike.
Howard has already been extensively quoted and interviewed, and this book featured, in the world wide media already.
ST6 is an elite within an elite, specialising in counterterrorism, hostage rescue, and counterinsurgency. Operating outside the parameters of normal military protocol, it receives mission approval direct from the US President. And it was the team that undertook the capture or kill mission that resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden. Although Howard retired from the service in the mid-1990s, his insights into how the unit operates, told through his own experiences of training and serving as one of ST6s deadliest snipers, are fascinating.
SEAL TEAM SIX has the potential to be a massive success were publishing swiftly in order to capitalise on the current interest in the unit and its background. And well also be the first publisher to market on the subject.
