This study highlights and discuss both cognitive and non-cognitive factors related with the drop-out phenomenon at secondary school stage. The results have been analyzed comparatively for Muslim and Non-Muslim groups for better understanding of the problem among Muslims. It stresses on the need to take into account every aspect of the problem, including the family environment.
