This book suggests a new way to look at musical form based on fractal geometry. Specifically, it draws on writings of Arnold Schoenberg and Rudoph Reti suggesting that music can be broken down into smaller and smaller self-similar parts in the manner of a fractal image. It is intended for university music students at all levels. The mathematics used is elementary algebra and trigonometry.
