It is an introductory guide for learning about wetlands. It includes 15 modules containing basic information on wetlands, their types and importance, Ramsar convention, Ramsar sites, World Wetlands Day, threats to wetlands, measures for addressing wetland problems, and climate change and wetlands. It also includes handful of information on current status of wetlands in Nepal and associated conservation efforts. More focus is given to make this guide simple and user-friendly, so that students, teachers, community workers and wetland enthusiasts can use it for gaining wetland knowledge. Facilitators and trainers can use this guide as a reference material on wetlands.
