1936. This is the sixth in the series of New Lectures on the Ancient Wisdom. The series was begun in response to requests to see the lectures in print. They were regarded as constituting a contribution to the literature of the esoteric movement that is entirely new and unique. The Stable and the Manger is the revelation of the unknown meaning of the Christmas story in the Gospels of the New Testament.
