T.J. is a craps dealer with a gambling problem and works in Las Vegas; here people gamble to win time, and running out of time literally means death. T.J. and Carla begin their life together determined to stop his gambling. A new danger arrives in the form of Carla's best friend who becomes obsessed with T.J. and will stop at nothing to have him. As T.J. and Carla fight this challenge, an underground rebel group takes an interest in the Jarrett family. Why are they following the Jarretts and why do they want something the Jarretts have?
