About Author : Shalina Mehta is currently serving as Professor of Social Anthropology, in Department of Anthropology, Panjab University Chandigarh. Dr. Mehta completed her Post University in 1973, and taught Sociology at Institute of Home Economics, South Extension, Delhi from 1974-77.Dr. Suninder K. Sondhi has done her Doctrate on the topic AIDS and Adolescent: A study of attitudes, awareness, beliefs, conceptions and misconceptions among girl students of Chandigarh, India. She completed her Ph.D. in 1998. She has also completed a Certificate Course in Planning and Implementation of Targeted Intervention jointly organized by NACO and UNAIDS.
