Stories of Vikram Vetal are the story of King Vikramaditya and the spirit Vetal who resides on a tree. A hermit asks the king to capture Vetal and bring the spirit to him. Vikramaditya manages to seize Vetal but Vetal starts narrating stories to him. At the end of each story, he asks a tricky question and compels Vikramaditya to answer it. Every time the king gives a correct answer, Vetal flies away to his abode. Read the book to know whether the king manages to finally capture Vetal.
