In a post-apocalyptic world, teenaged cousins Evie French and Marcus Peters struggle to survive in outback Australia. Hope comes in the form of 19-year-old Joel Pitt, who arrives on his motorbike with his dog, Rasputin, bringing supplies. The cousins join Marcus and embark on a trip that will take them over mountainous terrain with a limited supply of food and water.
