About the Book
The present volume attempts to find out the ways and means to empower the farm women socially, economically and technically. The scientific evaluation of the programme Women in Agriculture for its economic impact on decision making, socio-economic empowerment, increase in farm production and productivity, income and employment generation and constraints in programmes implementation have been undertaken in detail. The findings and the strategies suggested would be of great help to students, scholars, policy makers, women activists, development administrators and NGOs working for development of farm women in particular and rural development in general.
