This book has been written to fill the present need of a treatise on clinical veterinary surgery for the use of the practitioner and the student.The teaching of surgery has undergone great changes during a very short period . Fifty years ago the horse was the principle patient and all practitioners were keenly interested in this animal professionally and also because it was their means of transport and a medium for sport.
