About the Book
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 5th IFIP WG 6.1 International Conference on Distributed Applications and Interoperable Systems, DAIS 2005, held in Athens, Greece in June 2005. The DAIS conference was held as a joint event in federation with the 7th IFIP WG 6.1 International Conference on Formal Methods for Open Object-Based Distributed Systems, FMOODS 2005.
The 16 revised full papers and 5 revised short papers presented were carefully reviewed and are organized in topical sections on context and location, interoperability architectures, methodological aspects, service discovery, configurable communication, and performance and optimization.
