The book is a collection of articles written by the author independently except two along with other co-authors, mainly relating to environment, based on the findings of the research projects undertaken by the author in the resource rich state of Odisha. It shows that the rate of environmental degradation and deterioration particularly of water, land and forest has increased in the post-liberalization, privatization and globalization era which opened up to the private sector core sector such as power, steel, mines, etc which they were not allowed earlier.
