The political career of Lala Har Dayal is most remarkable in the long-drawn political struggle for independence of India. He participated in anti-Raj movement. His secular temperament, and his patriotic zeal for the upliftment of the masses made him a very popular leader. He was a fine speaker as well as a well-known writer. His contribution for the socio-economic development is superb. Indeed his speeches and writings would be very useful for teachers, students and research scholars in India and abroad.
